WFPB Movies To Inspire My New Dietstyle
My first suggestion for WFPB Movies would be the documentary on the matter that we saw first: “Forks Over Knives“. “FORKS OVER KNIVES” examines the profound claim that most; if not all; of the so-called “diseases of affluence” that afflict us can be controlled; or even reversed; by rejecting our present menu of animal-based and processed foods.
There’s the dvd, books and cookbook, plus it’s available on Amazon and Netflix.
“Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead” documentary is also good. Morbidly obese Joe Cross endeavors to drink only fruit and vegetable juice for 60 days in an effort to lose weight, reboot his health, and inspire others along the way.
In Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead 2, Joe travels around the world and meets with experts who present viable strategies to make and maintain long-term improvements to eating behaviors and overall health.
Director Morgan Spurlock’s social experiment in fast-food gastronomy sees him attempting to subsist uniquely on food from the McDonald’s menu for an entire month. In the process his weight balloons, his energy level plummets and experiences all sorts of unexpected — and terrifying — side effects.

In addition to WFPB Movies, there are many excellent books to read.
First: “The China Study” by T Colin Campbell, Ph.D.
In The China Study, Dr. T. Colin Campbell details the connection between nutrition and heart disease, diabetes, and cancer. The report also examines the source of nutritional confusion produced by powerful lobbies, government entities, and opportunistic scientists. I delayed buying this as it sounded potentially dull and dry. My actually experience was quite the opposite!

Every apple contains thousands of antioxidants whose names, beyond a few like vitamin C, are unfamiliar to us, and each of these powerful chemicals has the potential to play an important role in supporting our health. But calculating the specific influence of each of these chemicals isn’t nearly sufficient to explain the effect of the apple as a whole.
